A personal project for a book i read this month - The Call of Cthulhu. A cosmic horror written by H.P Lovecraft in the summer of 1926. The book cover is a representation of a scene in the book, in wich Cthulhu get out through ''amonstrously carven portal'' in a island.

This was a fun and personal project to create a cover for The Sandman. The idea behind the illustration was to convey the whimsical, misterious and dreamy feel of the sandman's illustrations and stories.
